HANDSTAND

DESCRIPTION

A Handstand is a skill where you balance your body upside down with your hands on the ground and your feet in the air.

Here are the steps to perform a Handstand:

  1. Start by standing in a lunge position with one foot forward and one foot back.

  2. Place your hands on the ground on either side of your front foot, shoulder-width apart.

  3. Shift your weight forward onto your hands and lift your back leg off the ground.

  4. Kick your back leg up towards the ceiling as you push through your hands to lift your body off the ground.

  5. Engage your core and keep arms straight to maintain balance.

  6. Hold the Handstand for as long as you can.

  7. To come down, slowly lower your legs back to the ground and return to a lunge position.

Note: It's important to practice Handstands with proper form and under the guidance of a trained instructor to avoid injury. Also, it may take time and patience to build the necessary strength and balance for a handstand, so don't get discouraged if you can't do it right away!
