Backbend Kickover

A Backbend Kickover is a skill move that combines the elements of a Backbend and a Bridge Kickover.

The steps for this move are as follows:

  1. Start in a standing position with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms extended above your head.

  2. Start to lean backwards, bending at the waist and keeping your arms extended above your head.

  3. Finish the Backbend in a Bridge position then kick your dominate leg up and over your head while keeping your arms extended.

  4. As you kick your leg over, use your arms to stabilize and maintain your balance.

  5. Once your leg is over your head, try to land on the balls of your feet in a lunge position.

This move requires good balance, flexibility, and upper body strength, as well as proper technique. It's important to be familiar with both Backbend and a Bridge Kickover move before attempting this variation.
